The LL.M. Alternate Dispute Resolution program offered by UPES School of Law is designed to provide students with hands-on, practical training in the field of dispute resolution. Special emphasis is given to mediation, where students will explore the role of a mediator, the qualities and skills required to be an effective mediator, the structure of a mediation process, and the art of mediation advocacy. They will also learn practical skills such as drafting consent orders, position statements, and settlement agreements.
