Arshdeep Singh is currently working as Vice President & Head – Legal at Amplus Solar. Amplus Solar is Asia’s leading distributed energy company providing low carbon energy solutions to industrial and commercial customers.
Amplus Solar is a member of Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS) group, Malaysia and is headquartered in Gurugram, with its regional offices in Singapore, Bangalore, Bangkok, Dubai, Kuala Lumpur, Mumbai and Pune. Today, Amplus owns and manages a cumulative portfolio of 800+ MWp of distributed solar assets across Asia.
Arshdeep is a vastly experienced legal professional with a demonstrated history of working in the conventional energy, renewables and infrastructure industry throughout his career. He leads the legal and compliance functions for Amplus Solar globally and has been involved in leading marque transactions across various jurisdictions including ASEAN and Middle East.
Prior to joining Amplus Solar, Arshdeep has worked with J. Sagar Associates and L&L Partners at their Delhi Offices. During his time at these law firms, he specialized in Projects, Electricity and Infrastructure. He advised on diverse Energy projects, such as LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas), Projects (including LNG sale & purchase agreements), upstream developments (including on Production sharing Contracts and Joint Operating Agreements), and product or gas off-take agreements. He has worked on agreements in relation to transportation, high seas title transfers and liabilities arising out of them.
Arshdeep has rendered multiple opinions to International Energy (Electricity, Oil & Gas and Renewable Energy) companies on their Indian projects. He has advised many large Indian Oil & Gas companies with regard to their domestic as well as international investments.
He has also been recognised as one of the Best Leading Lawyers of 2022 by the World Intellectual Property Forum.
He is a law graduate from UPES and passed out in 2014.
