Mumtaz is a deeply accomplished senior executive with progressive leadership experience in various positions in managing large scale infrastructure projects, especially Railway & MRTS. A Civil Engineer with Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Construction Management from NICMAR (Pune), Mumtaz is a Project Management enthusiast and strives to bring changes into the conventional functioning of the Construction Industry, through Digital Transformation, Lean Construction, Sustainable Development etc.
Mumtaz is presently working as Operations Head (AVP) for Rail PMC Business Unit of Systra India and is overall responsible for Operations of this BU. SYSTRA is a multinational engineering and consulting group in the mobility sector, whose fields of activity include rail and public transport. They are specialised in delivering Mass Rapid Transit Systems (MRTS), High-Speed Rail (HSR) etc. from concept to commissioning.
Mumtaz is part of the Board of Studies of renowned institutes and possesses a keen interest to contribute towards bridging the gap between academia and the industry.
