UPES offers distinct BCA specialisations in IoT that can allow students to pursue successful careers in the global technological and Fintech domain. BCA course specialisations last for 6 semesters or 3 years. In spite ofspecialised disciplines, the courses have customised curriculums that can help students switch career domains to other technological disciplines if they wish to do so.

The BCA course from UPES can also be appropriate for students wishing to continue their technical education with postgraduate degrees in different technological disciplines such as computer science, IT or database administration.

The eligibility for BCA course scholarships at UPES includes a minimum aggregate of 75% in their secondary (X) and higher secondary (XII) exams.

Bachelor of Computer Application is a 3-year program offered under School of Computer Science.

50% marks in class X and XII with Mathematics / Computer Science / Information Technology as one of the major subjects in Class XII

There are academic scholarships for meritorious students; domicile scholarships for bonafide Uttarakhand students; freeships under Project ‘Jyoti’ for students from economically weaker sections; and sports scholarships under Project ‘Vijay’.

UPES provides placement assistance to all enrolled students subject to their fulfilling eligibility conditions as prescribed in UPES Placement Regulations. However, the obligation of the University will be only to provide placement assistance and not placement guarantee.

Yes, hostel facility is provided by the University. Residential blocks have been earmarked for limited on-campus accommodation (on first come, first serve basis), separately for boys and girls on triple sharing basis. Students wishing to avail hostel facility (on-campus) will need to deposit fee in advance.

The fee indicated below is for academic session 2022-23 only and is on triple sharing basis

Fee:

Rs. 1,70,000/- Regular hostel for boys and girls at Bidholi and Kandoli campus.

For girl students, we also have a few additional triple sharing rooms with ad-on facilities only at the Kandoli campus as indicated below:

- 1,90,000/- for hostel room with attached washroom (only for girls)  
- 2,13,500/- for hostel room with attached washroom and air conditioning (only for girls)

In addition to the hostel fee, an interest-free refundable hostel security fee of Rs. 10,000/- will be taken at the time of registration.

Note: Students who wish to avail the campus hostel facility should submit the following documents along with the requisite hostel fee without fail:

- Medical Certificate*  
- Police Verification Report* (from their respective city/town)

*Format is available in registration letter sent separately only to admitted students.

Note: Hostel refund will be as per UGC norms.

Candidates seeking admission to any of the program must apply online or offline at admission office by paying the application form fee of Rs. 1350/-.

For the admission process, students are required to submit the following documents:

1. Aadhaar Card Number at the time of registration
2. Permanent Account Number (all students and parent)
3. Student academic record/personal records, which will be verified at the time of admission through the original documents

Note: Students will only submit the self-attested copies of required documents for admission. Students are not supposed to submit any original document.
