<p>Dr. Srivastava has 15+ years of experience in Management, Teaching, and Research, in the academic field. He is working as a faculty for the last 13 years in <strong>School of Computer Science UPES, </strong>after a short stint in the industry with Planman Technology. He was the topper and Silver Medallist in <strong>M.Tech Information Technology. </strong>He received <strong>Ph.D</strong> in <strong>Computer Science Engineering</strong> from UPES. His field of research has been in <strong>AI</strong>, <strong>Data Science</strong> and <strong>NOSQL</strong> <strong>databases</strong>.</p><p>He has conducted workshops on Big Data Hadoop, AI and Machine Learning under Management Development Program as well as conducted workshops on Image Analytics & Big Data at <strong>Goa Institute of Management</strong>. Has designed, developed, and delivered diploma certification courses for <strong>HPCL </strong>professionals. Has also conducted a workshop on the hydrocarbon value chain and the IT application for Birlasoft professionals.</p>
Dr. Srivastava worked as a Junior Geologist in Planman Technologies before joining UPES. He has been in the initial team of faculties who were instrumental in designing and developing the courses in collaboration with IBM and Xebia. He has extensively participated in placement, internship and industry collaborations for UPES. He was also the chief product officer and technical advisor to CREDFIC Technologies.

Dr. Srivastava believes in knowledge by practise. He believes that actual implementation of theoretical knowledge enables a better understanding of the different concepts. He encourages innovation and out-of-the-box thinking through different assignments and workshops.
Dr. Srivastava has delivered lectures to B.Tech, M.Tech, Ph.D. MBA scholars on the topics of Machine Learning, Statistics, Artificial Intelligence, Data warehousing, and application of analytics in the field of Oil & Gas, and Power Industry. He has conducted workshops on Big Data and AI.
Dr. Srivastava has received silver medal in M.Tech.
Dr. Srivastava has been a part of multidisciplinary teams on government projects, and has led teams in industry projects. He has guided 4 PhDs and numerous Masters research projects. He has written 8 books on AI, Analytics and Big Data. He also has multiple international publications to his name.
