Dr. Sahu is an expert in the field of fractal geometry and has published a total of 8 papers in various international journals.

Before joining UPES, he was associated with VIT Bhopal as an Assistant Professor. Dr. Sahu comes with four years of experience and has taught in various leading institutes like NIT Jalandhar. Additionally, he also has two years of post-doctoral experience at IIT Guwahati.
Dr. Sahu's research interests primarily revolve around fractal geometry, analysis of fractals, and forecasting models based on fractals including finding solutions to differential equations on the fractal domain and estimating the fractal dimensions of graphs of functions.
Prof. Sahu's teaching philosophy is based on encouraging independent thinking and applying taught concepts directly to real-life situations. His thoughtful approach not only enhances the understanding of the subject matter but also fosters long-term retention of knowledge.
Prof. Sahu teaches various undergraduate mathematics courses, including Engineering Mathematics 1, Engineering Mathematics 2, Discrete Mathematics, and Complex Analysis. He also instructs B.Sc. students in Real Analysis, Linear Algebra, and Partial Differential Equations. Additionally, he is also involved in teaching foundation courses for BCA students.
