South Asian Futures Fellowship Programme (SAFFP) is hosted by the Council for Strategic and Defense Research (CSDR), New Delhi, India, with the support of Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES), India. The 12-month fellowship period will begin from August 1st, 2023, to July 30th, 2024.
The Fellowship is designed to support and promote 15 Early Career Researchers (ECRs), aged 25-35, from the South Asian region to explore topics at the intersection of Non-Traditional Security (NTS) and geopolitics in the South Asian area. The Fellows will be supervised by the South Asian Futures Fellowship Programme Team during the Fellowship. Throughout the Fellowship, five selected Fellows will be expected to commit to a 30-day residency in a non-domicile South Asian think tank as a part of their Fellowship.
